mutuol is a multi-partner organization headquartered in denver, with a secondary office in amsterdam and a satellite in zurich. we share infrastructure, finances, domestic operations, and a life together.
we share servers, groceries, cars, and a life. the intimacy is the point; writing things down and running them with process is what keeps it working.
you get logins before you get a toothbrush spot. there are retros, there are docs, and the house runs the same way everything else does.
we overthink shared living on purpose. if it can be a process, it is one.
retrospectives every two weeks with documented action items. we run people-work the same way we run project-work: owned, triaged, followed up, and closed out.
a shared stack across servers, storage, media, monitoring, and the home network. SSO-provisioned from day one; Jellyfin, dashboards, and docs are part of onboarding.
partners with outside income pay rent and split groceries. shared infrastructure costs like hosting and vehicles are optional. full-time household roles get rent, food, and a stipend from the shared pool.
you go on a few dates, do a sleepover trial, and if it works you get onboarded: SSO, calendar access, your dietary needs and preferences documented, and a copy of the partner guide. work arrangements are flexible. see our work policy.
if a partnership ends, there's a 31-day window to sort out access, accounts, and who owns what. it's not fun, but the process exists so it doesn't have to be worse than it already is.
open roles across engineering, reliability, finance, domestic operations, vehicles, media, and people systems. all relationship structures welcome.
