work arrangements
each position listed on our careers page includes a work arrangement tag. here's what each one means in practice.
on-site
you're here every day
applies to roles that require physical presence: cooking operations, vehicle maintenance, and some hands-on infrastructure work. you'll be at the amsterdam office regularly.
hybrid
~1 week per month onsite
you work remotely most of the time but spend about one week each month at your nearest office. we coordinate onsite weeks around retrospectives, planning sessions, and shared time together.
remote (on-site preferred)
fully remote works
the role can be done entirely remotely, but we'd love to see you more. if you're nearby, you're welcome onsite anytime. we'll make space for you.
remote
no required onsite time
you work fully from wherever you are. no required onsite days, but you're always welcome to come over. we'll make arrangements if you want to visit.
these categories aren't rigid. people move between them. what matters is spending real time together. shared meals, retros, and the kind of midnight conversations that only happen when you live with the people you build things with.
mutuol is BYOD. bring your own laptop, phone, whatever you work on. if you need a loaner while you're getting set up, we have some.
